Belgian version is best “store”
CEO Wouter Torfs divulged the news on Twitter last week. “We are proud of it. Why shouldn’t we not be able to do there what Dutch people can do over here”, Torfs said.
Schoenen Torfs opened its Belgian web shop in 2012 and it is currently the company’s best-performing “store”. It also receives quite a few orders from the Netherlands and that is why the company has decided to launch a Dutch web shop.
One-day delivery
“To give this fast-growing customer group better service, we went international with the launch of www.schoenentorfs.nl. That ot only offers a more personal touch for our Dutch customers, but it will also benefit search results on google.nl”, Schoenen Torfs revealed.
Similarly to its Belgian counterpart, Dutch orders will be delivered the next day, while Dutch customers can also choose the date of the delivery. There will not be a separate Dutch customer service as it had already been proven that Dutch people are satisfied with the Belgian customer service. A mobile version of the website was also launched.
