Avoid frustrated customers
What do you do if you are a supplier or manufacturer and only have a limited offer? Make sure people flock to your store and frustrate potential buyers when they are too late or the item does not fit them?
Adidas has developed an app to avoid these situations. Consumers can click if they would like to have a particular pair of shoes put aside for them. If they do this, they can make an appointment to fit the shoes and pay once it is actually available in a store near them. This avoids having to wake up early to get in line and perhaps still miss getting what the customer wants.
Geolocation offers additional options
Adidas can now also use geolocation to possibly limit its offer to a particular city or region.
It also allows to treat all customers similarly and Adidas can now also propose customers a new deal if they have missed a previous one.
