Make use of interests
M will use Messenger for its behaviour and according to vice president David Marcus it is capable of doing rather complicated tasks on the user’s behalf. “Unlike other AI-based services in the market, M can actually complete tasks on your behalf. It can purchase items, get gifts delivered to your loved ones, book restaurants, travel arrangements, appointments and way more”, he said on Facebook.
The service will probably use all the information Facebook has on its users, so when M gets a particular question, it will quickly be able to conclude it is near the person’s birthday. The proposals will then take into account the people’s interests.
It will take a while before Europeans can use the service as it has not even been given a release date for the United States.
