Time-saving
PayPal’s service allows users to keep the same login information available when they visit a specific web shop using PayPal. They will only need to fill out their information once and indicate they want to be logged all the time. Once that is done, they will be able to pay for orders instantly, which will especially save a lot of time with mobile payments. Customers will however be forced to fill out their information again when they use another browser or device.
One Touch was launched a year ago in the United States and already expanded into Canada and the United Kingdom. The service will now also be available in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Spain, turkey, Sweden and Switzerland. Australia will also get the service, as the only non-European new addition.
Web shops that can use the service will not have to do anything as Paypal will automatically activate the service. According to PayPal, One Touch is currently available in several 100,000 web shops all across the world.
