Personalized pizza
The table, which is in fact one giant touch screen, allows customers to compile their order by choosing the size of the pizza, the type of dough, type of sauce and which cheese and toppings they want. The pizza is then shown in several slices, so that customers can easily choose a topping per slice.
After they have chosen a payment method, the order is transmitted to the kitchen. As soon as customers sit down, they can connect with their smartphone and activate an app that should, in time, be able to allow regular customers to choose from previously created pizza’s to speed up things. While they wait, they can play games on their interactive table.
Pizza Hut’s interactive table remains a conceptual idea, but the company believes it offers opportunities for the future.
