Carrefour has reached an agreement with 3Suisses owner Shopinvest about the sale of e-commerce company Rue du Commerce. No financial details about the deal have been released.

The French distributor is is selling Rue du Commerce to Shopinvest, an e-commerce player that already operates eleven online shops, including 3Suisses. Rue du Commerce is an online shop and marketplace that offers all kinds of non-food items: computer hardware, household appliances, sports items, clothing, toys, travel and cultural products. The total range consists of about 3.5 million articles. The company has been part of Groupe Carrefour since 2016.
Shopinvest (not to be confused with the Belgian company of the same name that owns e5 mode) was founded in 2011 by Karine Schrenzel and Olivier Gensburger. The French company holds eleven online shops in the areas of fashion, living and cosmetics. Shopinvest’s best-known brand is undoubtedly 3Suisses, which has been part of the group since the end of last year.
