Carrefour has taken a majority stake in Dejbox, a meal delivery company that focuses on the B2B-market and is active in several major cities in France.

Carrefour has taken a 60 % stake in Dejbox, according to L’Usine Nouvelle. “This acquisition is strategic and reflects Carrefour’s ambition to become a leader in food e-commerce“, e-commerce director Amélie Oudéa-Castera told French newspaper Le Figaro. “It will enable us to invest in the fast-growing segment of meal delivery with a quality-oriented offering accessible to all”
Dejbox was founded in 2015 and currently serves 400,000 meals a month in Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, Nantes and Paris, generating a turnover of more than ten million euros in 2019.
