Europe will follow the Netherlands
The Samsung Experience Stores will enable customers to discover Samsung’s entire mobile array of products, like mobile phones, tablets and wearables (like smartwatches). Just like in regular The Phone House stores, customers can also get subscriptions from several providers, if they want.
Stores in Amersfoort, Apeldoorn and Eindhoven will follow these first two and after it has fully launched in the Netherlands, the Samsung Experience Stores will move to Germany, Ireland, Portual, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. It will continue its collaboration with the Carphone Warehouse Group, Phone House’s parent company, in these countries.
Samsung wants to catch up to Apple with these Experience Stores, as Apple is already ever-present with its Apple Stores all across the world. Up until this point, Samsung had mostly worked with shop-in-shops.
