Sneaker brand Puma has appointed Ben Hughes as its new general manager for the region “UKIB” (United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands). Hughes has been sales director for the same region since 2014.
“Continue growth”
Hughes’ appointment is effective immediately and ends a six-year tenure as sales director in the same region. The new CEO UKIB has been working at Puma since 2008, and now succeeds Paul Spencer as the latter becomes regional sales director for the whole of Europe.
Arne Freundt, Puma’s general manager for the region EMEA (Europe, the Middle-East and Africa) praises Hughes’ “impressive growth track record” and says that makes him “the right person to lead the UKIB business and continue Puma’s growth momentum”, Fashion United quotes from a press release.
