Signature Foods has a new owner: British investment company Pamplona Capital acquires the Dutch salad manufacturer from IK Investment Partners.
Convenience food
Signature Foods is known as a manufacturer of fresh salads and all kinds of snacks and tapas. Headquartered in Hilversum, the company owns a number of consumer brands, including Hamal, Johma and Délio, and also serves various private label customers.
The group has an annual turnover in excess of 300 million euros. Signature Foods employs more than 600 people, spread over seven production sites in the Netherlands, Belgium (Turnhout) and Poland.
IK Investment Partners acquired the Dutch company, then called Salad Signature, almost 5 years ago. Reportedly, Pamplona Capital would pay around 750 million euro for the acquisition, but this amount has not been officially confirmed by either party.
