Spanish fashion company Mango has redesigned its store concept to better suit changing consumer behaviour. The first opening is planned for next month.
Sustainability
The company says the new store will be built with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind. They combine energy-saving lighting and temperature control with traditional raw materials such as ceramic, cement, wood and marble, which are found throughout the shops, writes FashionUnited.
To enhance the omnichannel shopping experience, Mango also created new services and features, such as a large click & collect corner, wider fitting rooms and cash registers on all floors. In addition, there will be space for exclusive online collections, which customers can admire and try on in situ.
Transformation
“Our industry is undergoing a complete transformation, and Mango is too. The stores have always been a privileged meeting point between customers and our brand, which is why we want to offer customers unique and personalized experiences, supported by technology and omnichannel services in a welcoming environment,” says retail director César de Vicente.
The first store equipped according to the new concept will open in March in the centre of Düsseldorf. It has a sales area of 1,400 square metres and is located in the Kö-Bogen II building, also known as the ‘green building’ because of the enormous vegetation covering the facade.
