After C&A Germany joined Zalando‘s Connected Retail partner programme at the beginning of this year, the retailer is now extending the collaboration to seven other European countries. The Netherlands is among the first to follow. Belgium will join at a later stage.
“Important for our multichannel strategy”
C&A Germany joined Zalando’s platform in February, and, according to C&A, the reactions to the collaboration with Zalando have been very positive. The partnership will, therefore, already be extended to seven additional countries. As of next month, C&A products will also be available on the Zalando platforms in the Netherlands, Austria and Spain. Belgium, France, Poland and Switzerland will follow at a later stage.
According to Merchandising Director Martijn van der Zee, Connected Retail is a vital addition to the company’s omnichannel strategy. “We want to be where consumers buy fashion. In addition to our own channels, Zalando is a platform visited by modern, fashion- and sustainability-oriented consumers.”
