Miinto saw its revenue rise by almost 70 per cent in the first quarter. The Danish fashion platform also appoints new board members.
Continuing the growth trajectory
Around 1,800 fashion stores, brands and designers from 13 countries are now active on the Miinto platform. In the first three months of the year, the company achieved sales of over 300 million Danish kroner (more than 40 million euros), an increase of 67 per cent compared to the same period last year.
CEO Konrad Kierklo (pictured) is particularly pleased with the good result, both for Miinto and its partners. “As many are still struggling with lockdowns and restrictions, it is paramount that we are successful online.”
To enable further growth, the platform is appointing a new board. Jørgen Madsen Lindemann, former CEO of MTG Group will become chairman. He will be joined by Jeanette Aaen, CEO of Illum, and Peter Williams, former CEO of UK-based Selfridges. “It is no secret that we are still on a growth trajectory and that we need people with significant business and commercial skills who also have extensive experience with scaling companies for international growth,” Kierklo said.
