Mimicking Lidl in search for growth
Blokker Group’s eponymous chain will pilot a couple of stores by August, to test a new concept. The company however remains silent about what the changes will be.
The group’s non-food discounter Big Bazaar, which had recently adopted a new concept, will be expanded in an attempt to block the enormous progress of its competitor Action. Newly appointed director Roland van Geest claims to have been inspired by the success of reborn Lidl.
