Following Zara’s online successes, Inditex has announced it will launch web shops all of its brands on 6 September. Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Uterqüe will join the Spanish group’s flagship on the Internet “for selected European markets”.
Unlike Zara however, the new web shops will be centralised for the whole of Europe instead of using local versions per country. Inditex confirmed that the websites will only be available for a few selected markets, without specifying which countries will be chosen. Just one day after the huge European expansion of its sister brands, Zara’s empire will expand too, as Inditex will open an American Zara web shop.
The new Massimo Dutti web shop will sell every possible item, ranging from clothing for women, men and children to accessories and perfumes inside the range of that brand. It will also feature tips and information for visitors, trying to let customers visit the site more often and making it “not only transaction, but really interaction”.
