Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda is significantly expanding its store network: before the end of the year, fifteen brick-and-mortar stores and seven shop-in-shops will be added across the globe.
Chinese webshop
Scotch & Soda will open new stores in several cities in France, Germany and Spain, but also further afield in Australia, India and the United States. Furthermore, after a soft launch in August, the fashion brand will officially open its first digital store on Tmall in China, Yahoo! reports. The Dutch label has been active in the Asian country since this summer, and to support that launch, the fashion company has created social media accounts on Douyin, WeChat, Weibo and Xiaohongshu.
Scotch & Soda has already opened 34 physical stores and 27 shop-in-shops since January. With the new stores, the brand’s total retail and franchise portfolio will consist of 249 stores and 280 shop-in-shops worldwide by the end of the year.
New logo
All building fronts will feature the new brand logo, which the company unveiled in March. The interior design features warm colours and clean design elements, and sustainable elements such as LED lighting, FSC-certified wooden herringbone floors, and hangers made from recycled materials.
The brand will open a new 27,500 sqm distribution centre in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, early next year to support its expansion.
