Rapid delivery startup Gorillas and German perfumery chain Douglas are going to collaborate: in the coming weeks, the quick commerce service will deliver cosmetics to customers in Hamburg within ten minutes.
End of year period
This is a pilot project that starts today and runs until the end of the year. During this period, Gorillas will deliver products such as perfume, cosmetics, make-up and candles to customers in Hamburg. For retailers such as Douglas, the end-of-year period is traditionally very busy.
“As part of the pilot project, which is set to run until the end of the year, we are offering 25 exclusive beauty and lifestyle products from our range via the Gorillas app, with a focus on gift items as well as everyday products.” says CDO Vanessa Stützle in a LinkedIn post. “In the current climate and with the increasing demand for fast delivery services, this is the ideal time for us to serve our customers via quick commerce with beauty.”
