Spanish luxury brand Balenciaga has opened its first store on a European airport at Schiphol, Amsterdam.
Raw architecture
The store follows its new Raw Architecture concept. Premiered in Londen, last October, the concept invokes an industrial atmosphere featuring bare, concrete walls. Like several other luxury stores in the Netherlands’ main airport, the new Balenciaga store will be managed by Lagardère Travel Retail, FashionUnited reports.
The new store is Balenciaga’s second store in the Netherlands, following a store that opened in the P.C. Hooftstraat, a major shopping street in Amsterdam’s city centre.
