Soft drink brand Coca-Cola has opened its first European fashion shop last week, in London’s Covent Garden. Shoppers can find a range of exclusive clothing and fashion accessories in limited editions.
European first
A press release promises shoppers “the real magic of Coca-Cola”: the range includes exclusive garments and accessories that are the result of collaborations between the soft drink brand and well-known fashion brands and designers, including Lee, Soho Grit, Herschel and Staple.
Sustainability is also a theme in the flagship store: you will find, for example, clothes made from recycled plastic, and reusable drinks bottles. Moreover, you can have your drink cans personalised. It is, however, not a world first: Coca-Cola has already opened similar fashion stores in the United States.
“This store is a chance for us to provide Coca-Cola fans with a premium array of fashion and collectibles, and fresh ways to experience our drinks. Through a collection of products made from recycled materials, it also gives us a great opportunity to share our sustainability commitments with people and bring them with us on our journey to a World Without Waste”, Coca-Cola’s retail director Michelle Moorehead said.
