Carrefour will change this 200 products-strong range, which has a lowest price guarantee, during the year to fit the seasons and certain commercial periods like Halloween or Christmas. This summer, ice cream, soda and mineral water are in the list, but non-food items like sunshades, board games, games and memory cards are also part of the list.
Its price-guarantee means that Carrefour France will pay the customer back double the difference if he can find the same item for a lower price in a 15-mile radius.
Carrefour already applies this guarantee on 500 items and will therefore now add 200 more season-bound items. Carrefour claims to have the lowest price for 200 beauty products, 200 school items and 200 toys.
