Stefan Pichler has been appointed President of Henkel in the Benelux region. The Austrian, who has more than 15 years of experience at the consumer goods company, replaces Ivan De Jonghe.
Unified regional platform
Ivan De Jonghe, who has headed Henkel in the Benelux since 2015, is leaving the company. Stefan Pichler will take over his duties. The Austrian has been with Henkel for more than 15 years and will now lead the development and positioning of the FMCG group in the Benelux as president.
Pichler will be responsible for some 750 employees at seven locations in the Benelux. He will also head the future Henkel Consumer Brands business unit in the Benelux, the unified regional platform for consumer beauty products and laundry and household products.
“We have a very strong base in the Benelux, with a very committed team, a strong brand portfolio as well as solid and long-standing relationships with partners and customers,” said Pichler, who already knows the market as he was managing director of the Laundry & Home Care division in the Benelux since 2018.
The management change is part of Henkel’s restructuring, which involves bringing together all of the group’s consumer businesses. Ivan De Jonghe is leaving the company after a 30-year career with Henkel.
