New concept
In the Netherlands, NS Stations exploits several AH to go stores in train stations, while it is also present in France, England and Belgium. It will now collaborate with Delhaize in Belgium to open 2 Delhaize Shop & Go stores in Antwerp Central Station, the very first of this new concept.
NS Stations has chosen a local Belgian partner instead of Albert Heijn, its successful collaboration partner in the Netherlands. This is a setback for Albert Heijn’s expansion in Belgium: opening more AH to go stores in stations might greatly have contributed to that plan.
Antwerp Central Station already holds two Einstein Coffee stores, also exploited by NS Stations.
