Manufacturing Map
G-Star has put a ‘Manufacturing Map’ online, divulging the location and the details of every factory. Interested parties can see which products are made in a particular factory or how many people are employed. Even the number of women and men of the 27 factories are revealed.
Online products are immediately linked to the same map, which very easily reveals where every piece of clothing has been made.
“Manufacturers that have collaborated with G-Star for more than a decade have produced half of all G-Star products. We are proud of these manufacturers and that is why we have launched a tool that will allow consumers to get to know these manufacturers”, the brand states in a press release.
