No plans for further expansion
Ikea has started sending out the Croatian version of its catalog on 1 August. Nearly 500,000 copies were delivered door to door in the Zagreb region as a prelude to the store opening.
Ikea has invested nearly 100 million euro in the new project and currently has 350 employees in Croatia.
The company currently has no plans to open new stores in other cities in Croatia, like Split or Rijeka. It does not exclude the possibility however, as it is looking for possible Croatian store locations.
