Evelyne De Leersnyder will become Coca-Cola‘s franchise head in Germany, Denmark and Finland. The Belgian takes over from Bjorn Jensen, who moves to the company’s Austrian branch.
Three in one
On 1 April, De Leersnyder will climb to the highest position at Coca-Cola in Germany and become Vice President Franchise Operations for Denmark, Germany and Finland. As a result, she will also become the head of Coca-Cola Germany and she will also remain Chief of Staff for the President of Coca-Cola Europe, the company announces in a press release.
De Leersnyder has worked for the soda producer for fourteen years, starting her career in the Technical Team in Belgium. She then moved into franchise operations, leading the marketing team in Denmark and Iceland and steering the commercial agenda in Austria. She then became General Manager for Bulgaria, before becoming Marketing Director for the Area North (Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Nordic countriess).
Her predecessor, Bjorn Jensen, held the position since October 2019 but will start working in Vienna as Vice President Operations and General Manager for the Central Europe region from 1 April. Jensen began his career with Coca-Cola in 1991 in his native Norway, but has since climbed the career ladder there in numerous positions.
