Zalando has launched an exclusive range of garments and accessories by Paco Rabanne. The e-commerce platform aims to bet on designer fashion to raise its profits.
Destination for designer fashion
The capsule collection is available exclusively on Zalando, in all of its 25 European markets. The exclusive collection consists of forty pieces, including bags with necklaces, skirts, tops and dresses. Designer Paco Rabanne died in February this year, aged 88, but the fashion brand lives on in the hands of Italian luxury house Puig.
Lena-Sophie Röper, Director Designer & Luxury at Zalando, clarifies the collaboration: “The Paco Rabanne capsule collection is an important step forward in our ambition to become the destination for designer fashion.” It should make it easier for the new generation of luxury consumers to find their way to the Zalando platform.
“Our collaboration with fashion house Paco Rabanne embodies this direction and brings together the brand’s creative vision with our differentiated and inspiring designer shopping experience for the new generation of luxury consumers”, Röper said.
