Rumours keep on comig
A 1,500 sqm store in the prestigious residential-commercial area De Gulden Vlies has attracted the electronics manufacturer’s eye. The 12,000 sqm shopping centre is located in the south-east of Brussels, near the Gulden Vlieslaan, and is currently under construction.
A long-standing rumour is that Apple was considering an Apple Store in Ghent. It has now decided on a former post office in the Post Plaza Shopping Center, but nothing has been confirmed on its newest location in Antwerp, according to Le Soir.
Apple has not confirmed whether it will open a Belgian store, never mind three. The company tends to keep new store openings a secret as long as possible. Currently, Apple has 450 stores in 16 countries, more than half in the United States.
