“Women’s business never stronger”
Nike’s new 560 sqm store will not only sell sports-related products, like yoga, fitness and running, but will also sell more fashionable items, focused on less intensive activities.
Customers can also get their running style analyzed, try out shoes on different terrains and get their bra fitted. The personnel will also organize several events per week, like guest speakers.
“Our women’s business has never been stronger and this new store is the ultimate expression of our commitment to women who run, train and live the look of sport and fitness throughout their day”, Nike Women’s general manager Amy Montagne said.
Later this week, Nike will open a second all-women store in Shanghai, China. Depending on the success of its first American store, Nike may open other similar stores in the United States or abroad.
