Ice cream cones, waffles and cookies
D’hoore Group (active in the ice cream cone, waffle and cookie business with its Liobel Biscuits and Dupon Biscuits brands) has bought a large stake in its Spanish rival, Big Drum Ibérica. According to Alimarket.es, the company acquired 80 % of the Spanish company, but it is not clear how much Dick D’Hoore paid for the group.
Big Drum Ibérica was on the lookout for operational and financial backing for a while and had even sold off its packaging activities for 7.2 million euro according to Alimarket.
