50 openings in 3 months
Mega Image opened four 75 to 118 sqm Shop&Go stores in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, and added three large supermarkets in the same city to that. There is also a new Shop&Go in Constanta, while a new Mega Image supermarket will also be opened in Ploiesti.
Earlier this month, Mega Image re-opened 18 Angst stores under its own name, after the group had acquired the chain earlier this year. Over the past few months, Mega Image has launched a huge store opening spree: in September, it had 350 stores, but it has now expanded its store range to more than 400.
