Extensive collaboration
EK Servicegroup is a purchase alliance which has some 2,200 members and which generates a 1.3 billion euro yearly turnover; considerably higher than Euretco’s 2013 turnover of 922 million euro. Both groups already have an ongoing collaboration, but a Euretco spokesperson has confirmed both are considering an extensive collaboration which may lead to an acquisition in the end.
Euretco represents some 3,250 stores and has recently acquired DNG Retail, which meant it gained access to 350 DIY stores from brands like Hubo, Multimate and Fixet.
