Tenth store worldwide
L’Oréal opened its first European store in Stockholm in August 2013 and has already added six non-European stores to its retail park. Its new store in Milan measures 100 sqm and sells products from different collections.
The brand has not divulged what its intentions are for its chain, but it will keep adding new stores over the next few years and it is very conceivable it may add enough stores to actually create a fully-fledged chain.
L’Oréal, which owns subsidiaries like Lancôme and The Body Shop, is one of the world’s largest cosmetics companies and not only sells its own products, but also distributes beauty products for Diesel, Giorgio Armani and Stella McCartney.
