“Proud of the result”
The company, which owns brands like Vero Moda, Jack & Jones and Only, dedicated half of its April 10th turnover to worldwide charities like Save The Children, Unicef and Gain. The other half was given to local charities, like Belgian Hippo & Friends (which focuses on children with Type-1 diabetes) or Dutch Het Vergeten Kind (which focuses on places of refuge for vulnerable children).
“Give-a-day gives us the opportunity to give something back to the communities that have made our brands successful and allows us to help those in need. We are very proud of the result and impressed by the enormous engagement our employees and customers, without whom this would not have been possible, have shown”, communication manager Mogens Werge said.
