Return after 14 years
The 5,000 sqm store has three floors and features – among other things – a bakery, a bar, a expanded clothes collection, food and home decoration items.
Marks & Spencer was present in Belgium until 2001, but then the chain decided to close all stores on the European mainland because of its financial struggles and to focus entirely on the stores in the United Kingdom instead.
Ever since that decision, the British icon has been working on its way back to the rest of Europe. It had already opened several stores on the mainland and since 2012, Belgian consumes were already able to order online at Marks & Spencer.
