Those who buy clothes in webshops come back more often and are more loyal than those who shop in physical clothes shops. Bol in the Netherlands has the most loyal customers of all, with the highest buying frequency as well.
Webshops dominate in buying frequency
The National Benchmark on Dutch clothing retailers, conducted among almost 5,200 Dutch consumers, shows that the average buying frequency at webshops is 2.8 times a year, compared to 2.2 times at physical shops.
Bol emerges as the webshop with the most loyal customers, buying clothes an average of 3.6 times a year. Moreover, 89% of customers say they would buy from Bol again, a score shared with Bonprix. Dutch retailer The Sting has the highest return intention of all surveyed parties.
