Expansion
LBO France wants to help speed up the brand’s Parisian growth and is even considering expansion abroad. The brand currently gets 80 % of its turnover in its home nation of France, but a portion of its 500 stores are also in the Benelux, Spain, Germany and the Middle East. The IKKS Group contains three chains: IKKS, One Step and I.Code, worth 300 million euro in turnover last year.
In 2011, LBO France invested in French fashion brand The Kooples in return for a 20 % stake. The brand, which was founded in 2008, is currently enjoying plenty of additional attention from other private equity firms.
