10 million smartphones per month
Turnover grew to 175.9 billion yen (26 billion euro) in the first six months of 2015. Huawei says it ships 10 million smartphones per month, starting in May, with a full-year goal of 100 million smartphones. That would be a sizeable increase over last year, when it sold 75 million smartphones, but expected to sell 80 million. In 2014, turnover grew 21 % in total.
The company currently controls 5.4 % of the worldwide smartphone market, miles behind the current top 3: Samsung, Apple and Lenovo.
