Le Pain Quotidien continues its expansion in the Netherlands, opening its first franchised location in the country in Maastricht. Five more such locations are planned in Breda, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht.
Sixth restaurant planned
Belgian restaurant and bakery concept Le Pain Quotidien already has five locations in the Netherlands (four in Amsterdam, one in nearby Amstelveen) which it manages itself. The chain has now announced that it wants to expand faster in the Netherlands through franchising: its sixth Dutch location should be the first that is managed by an independent entrepreneur. Henri Hochstenbag aims to open his restaurant in June 2025 at the latest.
Country managers Arne Altmann and Hubert Nieuwendijk for Le Pain Quotidien Netherlands have already started looking for more entrepreneurs to open locations in Breda, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht, amongst others. Le Pain Quotidien is a bakery concept that is already active is in more than twenty countries, often through franchising.
