Belgian healthcare chain Medi-Market has appointed Maud Leschevin as its new Chief Health Officer. Until recently, Leschevin worked at fashion retailer Cassis Paprika.
Building a healthcare ecosystem
Leschevin will start her new job in January, she announced on LinkedIn. One of her responsibilities is to expand Medi-Market’s services so that the parapharmacy chain becomes a true “ecosystem and health player”. She finds the chain at an ambitious time, implementing a European expansion plan that eyes countries like Italy and Spain.
After the (partial) acquisition of Cassis Paprika by Futura Capital Fund, in October, Leschevin had said she would leave the fashion chain – despite only starting there as Chief Customer Officer in February. Before that, she held the same position she also previously held at pet store chain Tom&Co, as well as fulfilling the roles of general manager of bookshop Club, Marketing Director at Carrefour Belgium and Account Director at Unilever.
