Lidl‘s Plus app has passed the milestone of 100 million users. The retailer continues to add new features to the digital loyalty card to make shopping easier for its customers.
Launched in 2018
Lidl launched the app in February 2018, in five test countries. Over the years, Lidl has added features like shopping lists, digital tickets, folders and the Lidl Pay payment function. Last October, the retailer also added a click&collect reservation system for non-food offers or a Scan & Go feature that allows shoppers to scan items with their smartphones.
Just recently, the discounter also launched a loyalty programme in the app. Belgium and Luxembourg got the scoop, the Netherlands would soon follow.
