Fast expansion
With the first Action in Luxembourg, the company shows its willingness to keep its fast expansion going. It opened 108 stores last year and wants to speed up that growth even more this year. In total, Action now has 579 stores, including 335 in the Netherlands, 103 in Belgium, 86 in France, 54 in Germany and now one in Luxembourg.
About a third of its product range of more than 5,000 items is fixed, while the rest can change on a weekly basis: 150 new articles arrive in stores every week. The chain will now try to apply this tried-and-true formula in Luxembourg as well.
