More attention for women’s collection
The collection consists of sportswear, shoes, watches, sunglasses and a new perfume and will launch in the fall of 2016. “The collection is a tribute to Hadid’s uniquely modern style, combined with Hilfiger’s recognizable ‘classic American cool”, a press release states.
“Gigi has walked in our runway shows and now we are thrilled to continue our collaboration with her as the new face of Tommy Hilfiger women’s wear and fragrance. She is truly the definition of today’s ‘Tommy Girl’ – her magnetic personality is bright and always optimistic, and her style is confident, effortless and cool”, designer Tommy Hilfiger added.
Hadid’s addition to Tommy Hilfiger’s women’s collection should help boost its importance within the company. It stores will also be remodeled to offer a better presentation of its women’s collection.
