First ‘real’ European Samsung Store
The 176 sqm store in the Madeleine area offers all of Samsung’s latest
hit products, like the Galaxy S smartphone series and the Galaxy Tab and
Note tablets. Eight people assist customers in the South Korean chain’s
first real European store – that is: not counting the pop-up store in
rue Scribe (also in Paris).
The Parisian store is Samsung’s first Mobile Store, following openings
of Samsung Experience Stores in South Korea, Great-Britain, Canada and
Australia. Still, it is not really fully Samsung’s, as the world leader in
smartphones chose to let its French partner Coriolis Telecom manage the
store.
With the opening in the beginning of December, Samsung hopes to receive
plenty of Christmas shoppers in the new store. Their timing is better
than Microsoft’s, as the Americans will open their first European store
only after New Year’s day, probably in England.
