Transforming Fendi
Michael
Burke (55) has been working at Louis Vuitton owners LVMH for almost
thirty years, starting his career at Christian Dior USA. Until last
February, he had been overseeing the integration and transformation
of Fendi from a new acquisition in 2003 to LVMH’s second fashion
brand now. Since then, Burke had been working at another LVMH luxury
brand, Bulgari.
Jordi
Constans had been working towards being Louis Vuitton’s CEO for a
long time: his legendary predecessor Yves Carcelle had personally
lured him away from French food giant Danone and prepared him to be
his successor, but after just one month Constans already had to abdicate his
throne in favour of Burke.
