Spanish fashion group Inditex will bring larger clothing sizes to its Zara chain, following in the footsteps of its competitor Mango, which already has its own larger clothing size collection – called Violeta.
Up to XXL
The intention is to expand Zara’s collections step by step, until it contains all sizes, from XS to XXL. The larger sizes will be introduced in all of the fashion chain’s collection, with no exception.
Spanish fashion chain Mango already launched Violeta, entering the larger clothing size market. The maximum size for women in Mango is currently 54.
Zara is part of Inditex, a company which saw its profits soar in 2015. Turnover grew 15 % to 20.9 billion euro, while its profit grew similarly to 2.88 billion euro. Its founder, Amancio Ortega, recently celebrated his 80th birthday in spectacular fashion.
