Bio c’Bon, the French bio store chain, will open its first Belgian store in Brussels this Saturday. It will be the chain’s 97th store and another step towards the company’s goal to bring biological food closer to everyone’s reach.
97 stores in 4 countries
Bio c’Bon ‑ “Bio, c’est bon” ‑ will open its very first store in Belgium this Saturday. Brussels will welcome the store, at walking distance from the Stefaniaplein and the fancy Louizalaan.
This means Belgium is the fourth country for the French chain. 87 of Bio c’Bon’s stores are in France, 8 in Italy, 1 in Spain and soon one in Belgium. The group failed to divulge any turnover results.
“Ever since 2009, it has been our ambition to bring bio within everyone’s reach thanks to our proximity, our pricing and our personal advice in the stores itself”, the group boasts on its website, in French, Spanish or Italian, but not in Dutch yet.
Bio c’Bon aims to make “bio the norm instead of a consumption phenomenon in the margin of society”. That is why the chain compiles a weekly 4 kg fruit and vegetable basket for 10 euro, including recipes and kitchen tips.
The store, located on the Charleroisesteenweg in Sint-Gillis will be opened from Monday until Saturday, from 10 to 20h.
