Danish JYSK Nordic, one of JYSK Group’s two major divisions, managed to boost its turnover 11 % in the past fiscal year thanks to growth in every single country.

Excluding exchange rate fluctuations, turnover grew 11.2 % and it managed to hold onto a 9.3 % turnover increase with exchange rate fluctuations included. Based on the preliminary results, the company expects a very successful fiscal year 2015/16, but it will only publish its full results in December.
“We are very satisfied with our results and we would like to praise all our JYSK Nordic employees in every country”, CEO Jan Bogh said.
The Danish company currently has 1,086 stores in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Greece and China. It managed organic growth in each and every market, even where the overall market shrank. Over the past year, JYSK Nordic opened 69 new stores.
