Danish furniture chain JYSK has decided to expand its online reach to a whole range of new countries. Previously, only Northern Europe had access to its products online, but now the company has an online presence in 18 countries.
Product range to Polish distribution center
JYSK has decided to expand because of the increasing popularity of Scandinavian design in Central and Eastern Europe, which is why the distribution of 150 items is now no longer handled in its Danish distribution center in Uldum, but in Radomsko, Poland. The move also means the company can distribute its product range to an increased number of countries.
JYSK’s web shop is now available in the following countries: Bosnia, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. It is still only a fraction of the countries with FYSK stores, because the company is physically present in 44 countries worldwide.
Its increased online presence will also be seen in its stores, with more tablets to help customers browse its product range. That way, if the customer wants, he can also order items currently not available in the store itself.
