Styling Studio
The German
Esprit webshop is the first one to use the new service, called “Esprit
Styling Studio”. The system will also be showing up in the French, Belgian,
German and Dutch shops, but a definite timing has not been set.
The
customer can choose from three female models, who can each have three different
hairstyles. The customer has to choose which items she likes and the system
automatically fits those onto the virtual models. Once the customer is
satisfied with the outfit, she can put it in her shopping basket in one click.
E-commerce
service provider Netrada has taken a dozen photos of every item in the
online shop to get the tool to work. The photos were then edited so they would
fit perfectly on each model.
