Deckers, which owns brands like Hoka One One, Sanuk, Teva and Ugg, appointed Stefan Bernard as its Performance Lifestyle Group’s new vice president. He will be responsible for the brands’ growth.
20 years of experience
Stefan Bernard has plenty of working experience, having spent more than twenty years at companies like Apple, Hewlett Packard and Garmin. For the latter, he spent a lot of time repositioning the brand in the running and fitness markets.
“I am very excited to work for such dynamic brands. Hoka, with its performance-related reputation and its unique running technology has plenty of potential to become a well-known running brand across Europe. Teva is already an established and well-known brand for particular seasons, but I want to turn it into a full-year outdoor brand.”
Teva, founded in 1984, is a sandal brand available in more than fourty countries. Hoka, founded in 2009, sells running shoes for each type of athlete.
